Reaper audio processing extension plugin :
March 13th 2018 : pre 14
-Use the source take name for the new rendered file and take name
-Actually do the offline rendering in a background thread to allow showing render progress in the GUI (was previously using std::async incorrectly which caused the GUI to get stuck)
-After rendering, build peaks only for the new file and not all the files contained in the selected item
The plugin was tested with Reaper 5.77 but may work with slightly older versions. (It’s recommended to update to the newest version of Reaper, of course.)
Since pre13, the dll name is different to reflect 32 or 64 bit architecture, if you have previous builds installed on the system, remove them before trying to use these new ones. You should put the plugin(s) in :
You may have previously had the plugin(s) installed somewhere like :
C:\Program Files (x86)\REAPER\Plugins
C:\Program Files\REAPER (x64)\Plugins
You should first remove the reaper_xenakios_audioprocessing.dll from such places as well as from the UserPlugins location if you had it there.
Very quick instructions for use, assuming the plugin is properly installed : the plugin adds a new action “Xenakios : Pitch bend item…” that opens up the plugin window when one media item has been selected in the project. That action is not added to any menu by default nor does it have a default shortcut key. (So you will first have to find the action from the action window.)

There are no versions for Windows XP and macOS (previously known as OS-X).
March 10th 2018 : unexpected pre 13!
-Changed to use the Reaper AudioAccessor API to support reversed and looped takes and some other take processings/options. (Unfortunately take FX, volume/pan envelopes and some other things do not get imported into the plugin at the moment.)
-Fixed incorrect win32 API usage in 32 bit build.
-Some other tweaks.
September 2nd 2016, second update : Pre 12! Built the dlls with Visual Studio 2015 Update 3.
A couple of changes since 2014’s pre11 :
-Resampled pitch change allowed range extended to +-60 semitones instead of the previous +-48 semitones.
-The plugin dialog hopefully can no longer be opened twice. (The code design is such, that simply cannot currently work, even though Reaper can be tricked into attempting to open several instances.)
-Some C++ code errors fixed.

May 6th 2014, pre(-view, -release) 11
Windows 7/8/10, 64 bit :
32 bit Windows version currently not available for pre11. 😦 I’d need to see if I can still rebuild the dll from the old source code version. But seriously, 32 bit is obsolete now…
